Planet Ski Kabob

One day in another planet in the Milky Way Galaxy. There is a alien named Jose. He works in a building that works in manufacturing items and makes inventions. Jose is in the department of inventions and he one of the new employee.
The planet is about five days away from earth but it can’t be seen by the human eye and a telescope. The planet is called Ski Kabob, and the aliens are the figure of humans. The Jose is on the first day of man inc. He is not the smartest alien and he is not good at inventing. Man inc. hired him, because he smart and thinking inventions not making them, that is what other aliens jobs are. On the first day he thinks of a invention. The invention is a handy help to do anything around the house, it is like a handy dandy robot.
“Boss , boss I have an invention” Jose said.
“What is it” Mr. Bishop the boss of the inventing part of the company.
Jose says “ Here it is a robot that can do anything around the house so aliens like us doesn’t have to the dishes, clean the bathroom, clean the house, mow the lane, and do everything an alien do at home.” When Jose started the project it took about a month to get it right.
When Jose woke up from bed, Jose was so sick on the day of the announcement. The announcement is the day of when the robot is going to show to the whole world. He has to go or the robot won’t be approved by the man inc. board. “ Boss I can’t come into work today I am too sick to come in. I have a fever and a cold.” Jose said. Mr. Bishop is on the phone and he said “ Know you have to come in and talk to the board or the robot won’t go to all of planet.” “I’ll try to come in if I can, but I will look like poop.” Jose moaned.
The day of the announcement.
“Today is the day of man inc. to show off the inventions.” Said Alex loaner the CEO of Man inc. “ Sorry Alex we only have one invention.” said Mr. Bishop. “Ok let’s see it” told Alex. Jose came to the room and he looks like poop and he doesn’t look like he can stand up straight. “Hello I am Jose and I have a invention of the Future” Jose mumbled. “This is a robot called the HH1, and he is a robot that can do anything you want to make him to around the house.” “He can do the dishes, mow the lawn, clean the bathroom and unclog the toilet, if you really want to he can make dinner, he can clean the kitchen, watch your kids if you are away, and he can even clean the whole house in about 4 hours.” Jose said.
“can he even do kids homework.” said john Wallace the vice president of Man Inc. “No he can’t we don’t want the robot to do kids homework or they would not learn anything, but they can check their homework though.” said Jose.
“Can we see a demonstration.” said Luke Johnson the superintendent of Man inc. “Sure.” said Jose.
Jose turns on the robot and it goes over to Alex loaner and make him look nice. Alex Loaners asks him to do his kids homework, but the Robots says “ Sorry Alex Loaner that is not in my programming so I can’t do it, but I can check his homework for you if you want me to.”
“WOW.” All of the people in the Man Inc. Board.
The next day at work Jose get interrupted by the board and they tell him to come to Mr. Bishops office. When Jose gets there the board tells him “You robot the HH1 is approved and to make a lot of them by September 23 about 6 months from now and to start now.”
“How many do you want us to make sir” said Jose. “ About 15 thousand for every house in the country that have been chosen to get them.” said Alex.
Jose races down the stairs and tell everyone in the inventing part to drop what they are doing and start on the Robot.
Today is September 23 and all of the Robots are done. When they are distributed everyone in the country loves them, and everyone is very happy. The next day at Jose’s house he goes out to his mail box and sees that he has a envelope from Man Inc. When he gets back to the house he opens it up and sees that there is a check and a letter. The letter says “ Thank for everything you did to make the world better.” from Alex . There is a check for 23 million dollars.

Speak

Right before high school, you are at a party. Something happens and you call the police. The first day of school no one likes you. That’s Melinda’s life in Speak. In the book the tree represents Melinda conflict.

To begin with, in the story SPEAK Melinda has a lot of conflicts in her life. One of her conflicts are in the whole school that she doesn’t have any friends and her old friends won’t talk to her. In the book there is a quote that Melinda says on page 108, “ IT is easier to floss with barbed wire than admit that you like some-one in middle school.” Another conflict is that she got raped at a party before the first day of school. That’s why people now won’t talk to her anymore.

In SPEAK the tree represents Melinda’s life in a good way. In the beginning the tree is going bad and Melinda’s life is to. By the year goes by the tree is getting trimmed and Melinda’s life is going good. When the dead branches are getting trimmed off and Melinda’s past is behind her.

Just as the tree was saved Melinda is also saved from her conflicts in the end. There is a lesson in the book, “If something bad happens tell other so they can help you.” So you need to speak up. You need to speak.
